Paris, January 10, 2013 – On December 27th, 2012, Labofill was awarded ISO 22716 certification following an audit by Bureau Veritas Certification. Founded in 2001, Labofill is the manufacturing and packaging division of Groupe GM, an international player in the hospitality products sector. Situated near Lyon, Labofill focuses its activity on liquid cosmetics and produces 2,200 tonnes of toiletries per year. In 2012, the plant produced nearly 45 million bottles, sold in more than 70 countries through Groupe GM’s network of exclusive agents.

ISO 22716 certification is part of the continuity of quality commitments made by Labofill and Groupe GM in order to provide total satisfaction to their customers by ensuring the quality of the production, storage, shipment of the cosmetic products, and consumer safety. The certification means that the products meet the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetics and thus anticipate the implementation of the new European Regulations on cosmetics July 2013. *
* By July 2013, all products circulating on the European market must be developed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices described in ISO 22716.
