Our unique brand portfolio, combined with exceptional custom design and knowledge, gives you an unlimited choice of products.

History


The adventure starts in 1972 when Georges Marchand decides to create his own business around a simple idea: to provide added value to the hospitality specialists by offering them quality cosmetic products in partnership with renowned brands. The « personalised amenity product » is born.

L’Oréal with Ô de Lancôme was first to support the project. The immediate success paved the way; 45 years later, with a unique portfolio of over 30 brands, Groupe GM still expands and develops its business with an international network of exclusive agents operating over 70 countries.

1972

Georges Marchand, the founder, reinvents the concept of hotel amenities, starting with Ô by LANCÔME by L’ORÉAL

1975

Creation in France of AFI, the first distributor of the future Groupe GM network

1976

Signing of the first international chain contract with Novotel, Accor Group

NEW FRAGONARD FIGUIER FLEUR HOTEL LINE

Groupe GM presents its latest collaboration with the esteemed fragrance house Fragonard. Known for its rich heritage in perfumery, exceptional quality products, and quintessential French craftsmanship, Fragonard joins forces with Groupe GM to introduce two exclusive hotel lines. The line 'Vrai' captures the vibrant spirit of the Mediterranean coast, offering amenities that reflect the region’s enchanting essence, while 'Figuier Fleur' line pays homage to the charming heart of Provence, the birthplace of Fragonard. The latest embodies the authentic beauty of the region, infusing a serene elegance into hotels worldwide.

NEW EDPFM COLOGNE INDELEBILE HOTEL LINE

Following the success of our Eau De Magnolia hotel line, we are proud to present our second hotel line in collaboration with Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, featuring another exclusive fragrance: Cologne Indélébile, created by the famous nose Dominique Ropion.

The exclusive hotel line, features 50ml aluminum tubes and our aluminum 300 ml Ecofill dispenser, refillable and traceable, offering a clean, secure, and swift solution with minimal environmental impact. An ultimate olfactive experience!

New Hotel Line Trussardi

Groupe GM announces a remarkable hotel line with the iconic lifestyle brand TRUSSARDI, marking the inception of an exciting partnership. Reflecting Trussardi’s contemporary take on classic elegance, the new hotel line featuring neutral tones and minimalist graphics, exudes timeless exclusivity.

The line contains up to 98% ingredients of natural origin and is fully in line with Groupe GM’s Care About Earth program, contributing to the corporate effort to reduce its environmental footprint.

The collection features 30ml plant-based tubes and 100% recycled plastic bottles and large format 400ml dispensers such as Ghost and ECOFILL.

New organic and poetic hotel line

To celebrate the City of Light, Huygens, french premium cosmetics brand and the Ville de Paris brand, in partnership with Groupe GM, launch their range of amenities inspired by the most iconic Parisian landmarks. Each product associates a moment of happiness with a landmark: Virée Scintillante au Trocadero, Tendre Rendez-Vous au Sacré-Coeur...

The aloe vera-based formulas 100% made in France, are vegan and certified COSMOS ORGANIC by Cosmécert according to the COSMOS standard, and contain up to 99% ingredients of natural origin

NEW PHYTOMER HOTEL LINE

Groupe GM, is proud to announce a new partnership with Phytomer.

Phytomer is the story of three generations and each one is driven by the same dream: offer the skin the sea’s most incredible benefits.

The Phytomer hotel amenity line is fully in line with Groupe GM’s corporate responsibility program Care About Earth.

This new line contributes to Groupe GM’s commitment to developing sustainable products and their corporate effort. It is available in 30ml deep blue tubes that are 90% plant-based. The caps are made of 100% recycled plastic. It consists of a shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.

Phytomers’ hotel amenity line also features two large format dispensers in 400 ml: Ecofill and Ghost.

NUXE HOTEL LINE

Celebrating collaboration together since 2010, this specially tailored amenity range is available worldwide thanks to Groupe GM’s extensive distribution network. Inspired by NUXE, Rêve de Miel, the products in this line are enriched with honey, have a mouth-watering scent and delicious textures. The design of the hotel amenity line has completely been revisited and is now entirely made of recycled plastics bottles and caps. Shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, face & body cleansing gel and hair & body cleansing gel are available in 40ml bottles as well as in 300ml Ecopump dispensers, with a bio-resin pump. Face & Body soaps will complete the line and are FSC and RSPO certified, in order to preserve nature and be in adequation with NUXE’s philosophy. Besides the standard line mentioned above, the NUXE amenities can be also find in a light-colored Special Edition.

Groupe GM Announces Major Expansion to Australia & New Zealand.

After our recent expansion in Hong Kong and Macao, we are now thrilled to be further developing in the Asia Pacific region. Australia and New Zealand are one of the world’s top travel destinations and thus represent great opportunities for our group. We have no doubt that our partnership with Paris Groupe Ltd will be fruitful and help us deliver the best service in the region.

Paris Groupe is headed by Jason Williams along with business partners Brian Tuia and Daren Manks who all bring a wealth of experience from the hospitality, retail and investment industries.

GROUPE GM ANNOUNCES MAJOR EXPANSION TO HONG KONG & MACAO WITH NEWLY OPENED SUBSIDIARY.

Since its inception in 1972, Groupe GM has continuously expanded internationally. This growth is part of Groupe GM’s plans to consolidate its presence in Asia where their representation is already well-established in Cambodia, China, Japan, Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.

The Hong Kong/Macao subsidiary will be headed by Michael Sadarangani, who brings a wealth of experience from the hospitality and retail industry. He will be ably supported by his business partner Shearaton Carter, the Director of Carter Group/Da Silva creations. The Groupe GM Hong Kong team will be sharing the Maven Sales team which includes Iris Wong, Pearl Yip and Sandra Lee.

GGMCF THRILLED TO WELCOME THE SWISS HEAD HOUSEKEEPERS.

On Thursday November 8th, Groupe GM Cosmétiques France, our factory located near Lyon, was thrilled to welcome the AGG, the Swiss Association of General Head Housekeepers.

A unique opportunity for twenty head housekeepers to go behind the scenes of the the hotel amenities' production. They were acompanied by Emilie Cousteix, Groupe GM Switzerland Director and Philip Husson, Groupe GM Cosmétiques France Chief Exécutive.

The Equiphotel trade show, a leading event in the hotel and catering business, unfolded in Paris from November 11th to 15th.

It was a great opportunity for Groupe GM France to present to the profession its new amenities lines, the new accessories and the new Groupe GM’s Guest Amenity Portfolio.

A solid amenity line for the world water day !

On the occasion of World Water Day, Groupe GM is happy to announce the launch of its first SOLID cosmetic hotel line declined in SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER and SHOWER GEL.

We significantly reduce our water consumption during the production of this line, and we increase the lifetime of our products: a standard 30ml bottle of liquid shampoo allows 3 uses when a 20g solid shampoo allows around 30 USES !

Because water is a precious and rare resource it’s our responsibility to implement measures to reduce our consumption.

Groupe GM has invested in the expansion of the GGMCF plant in Lyon increasing it from 4000m² to 5200m². In response to the growing demand for its amenity products worldwide, Groupe GM is also investing in 9 x new machines which will grow the plant’s manufacturing capabilities to 31 machines in total – with more planned in the future.

This production site is located in the industrial zone of Neiva, Viana do Castelo, near Porto.

It specializes in the sustainable development and innovation of hygiene and care products for the hotel industry, both for international brands and for distribution.

It also serves as a platform for the GM Peninsula Ibérica Group (GGMPI) and allows it to control the distribution of hospitality products to the hotel sector.
